Our story
We believe gifts should mean something.
A few years ago, one of our founders watched his niece turn one. The room was filled with love — and also with stuff. Toys she'd outgrow in months. Clothes that wouldn't fit by spring. Gift cards that would never get used.
And he thought: what if all that generosity actually went somewhere?
Not just for the very wealthy, who have advisors and trusts and estate plans. But for regular people. People who celebrate birthdays with group chats and split gifts. People who want to give something real but don't know how.
That was the beginning of Gild.
